Descriptions of February Programs
Wednesday February 10th @6:30PM-- Young adult book discussion- Sacred Heart. In
this debut graphic novel collecting Liz Suburbia’s popular webcomic, the
parents have left the teenagers to fend for themselves in a town where a
terrible tragedy is coming for them all.
This discussion is open to all who enjoy young adult literature. (East
Saturday February 13th @1PM—Valentine Origami. Kim is back with fun origami projects.Drop in to learn some creative origami patterns to give to your Valentine (or keep for yourself). Supplies and instruction provided. (Children’s Library)
Thursday February 18th @ 4:30PM-- Ukulele and World Music Chorus. In this performance, students from the Union Elementary Summit School programs will demonstrate their advancing musical skills. Open to the public. (Hayes room)
Saturday February 20th @ 10:30AM— Music for Sprouts. As a part of the Summit School’s Spice on Snow festival, the library will be hosting children’s musician Chris Dorman. Chris brings sing–a-long and dance-a-long fun that will warm you up on a cold winter’s day. Each family in attendance will receive Chris’ latest CD. (Hayes Room)

After School Movie is now on the first Tuesday of the month. Join us February 2nd for Kiki’s Delivery Service.
Mondays- Chess Club @3:00PM Learn chess or improve your game with instructor Robert Nichols. Register at the Children’s Library desk or just show up! (Children’s Library)
Tuesdays- Tech Tuesday @3:00 PM. Simple maker projects for older kids. (Children’s Library)
Wednesdays- Fuse beads@3:00 PM. Join us to build your own perler bead creations. (Children’s Library)
Thursdays- Lego Club@3:00 PM. Build with friends and display your work. (Children’s Library)
Fridays- Tabletop Games@3:00 PM. Play Magic or pick one of the library board games to play with friends. (Children’s Library)
