Spanish Musical Storytime (Tuesday, April 1st at 11:15 AM)
“Rave reviews” does not begin to describe our time singing, dancing, and learning Spanish with this burst of lovely, effervescent energy. Ages birth to 5 welcome.
Card Catalog Poetry Playshop (Saturday, April 5th at 1:00 PM)
Mixing and matching words into poetry (or puzzles!) using old library index cards. Think upcycling meets super low tech refrigerator magnet poems. Goofy and fun. All ages. Challenge Librarian Linda to a “poem-off”!
Jazzed Up Storytime (Tuesday, April 8th at 10:30)
Calling to you hepcats and hepkittens… ready to hear a saxophone (played by our new friend Brad Kukenberger) and swing and sway to a story? Be there, you dig?
Imagination Trees (Wednesday, April 9th at 11 AM)
Artists ages 3-6 must sign up ahead! Make and take a glorious tree to sit beside, rest beneath, talk to, and any other thing your imagination conjures. (Cardboard and mixed media collage.)
Yoga Storytime (Friday, April 18th at 10:30 AM)
Our buddy Chrissy from Studio Zenith returns to lead mini yogis and their grownups in playful poses inspired by story and song.
Poem in Your Pocket Storytime Celebration (Thursday, April 24th at 10:30 AM)
Celebrate Poem in Your Pocket Day with a special poetry story time. Enjoy poems and a craft in celebration of National Poetry Month, PoemCity, and Poem in Your Pocket Day, when everyone is encouraged to carry a favorite poem and share it with friends and neighbors.
Springtime Family Music Soiree with Summit School (Saturday, April 26th, 1:00-2:00 PM)
Rollicking family fun featuring music, dancing, and the wonderful talent of Montpelier’s Summit School for Traditional Music!
Brave Parenting with local author Krissy Pozatek (Tuesday, April 29th 6:30 to 8:00 PM)
Parenting coach and author offers up a “Buddhist inspired guide to raising emotionally resilient children”. Books for sale at event!
Sit N Knit (Monday April 7, 14, 28 from 3:30-4:30 PM)
Lucky us! One more round of knitting with our friend Joan. First timers and knitting superstars can drop right in.

Origami Club (Thursdays, 3-4 PM through May, but not on school vacation)
Origami Queen Kim Smith rules over folding and flaring and voila! Magical paper creations come alive. Artists grades three and up welcome to attend solo. Younger artists with a grown-up. Jump in.
