Join us for a Greek & Italian Renaissance themed event to celebrate the library's beautiful historical friezes.

 

We would also like to share our appreciation for our donors & volunteers!

 

AND help us thank Rich Horchler, our retiring Give the Library a Lift! campaign Project Manager for all his great work.

This event is free and open to all!

6:30 pm - Frieze Talk & Tour with Michael Sherman in the Hayes Room 

                             (limited seating available, masks preferred) 

6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

​Enjoy Chill gelato in the Reading Room

Chat with TW Wood Gallery trustee, Phillip Robertson, to learn how casts of the friezes were made in the Fiction Room

Make a plaster cast with Ryan Mays in the East Montpelier Room

Make a laurel wreath in the Children's Library

There will be a scavenger hunt beginning in the Fiction Room

If you make it to Olympus, you can take home a free book to keep!

Take a photo at our themed photo station

Post your pic on social media and don't forget to use #KHLFreezewiththeFriezes

Each photo tagged will be entered to win a prize!
