Catalog Help

Our library software is Autographics VERSO.  Click HERE or on the search our catalog button above to login, find items, renew your materials and place holds.

Logging into your account at home:

1. Click the Library Catalog button above, which will redirect you to the library catalog.

2. Click Please Login in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Enter your Barcode number, which is the 14 digit number starting with 20051000 on the back of your library card. Type it with no spaces. Enter your Password. Click Submit

4. If you do not have your library card or do not know your password, call the Library at (802) 223-3338 or email info@kellogghubbard.org and we can help. 

Changing Your Username and Password

  1. After logging in to the online catalog, click on Your Account in the top right corner.

  2. Click on the Your Profile option in the menu that opens.

  3. In the Password box, type your new password. 

  4. Scroll down to the Nickname box and type a nickname, which is equivalent to a username.

  5. Click Save in the bottom right corner.

Searching the Online Catalog and Placing Holds

Use the search bar to search the catalog by keyword (All Headings), author, or title.  

Once you've found an item that you would like to place a hold on, click on the cover image and then click on the Place Hold button. In the screen that opens, click Place Hold again to confirm your hold. 

Browsing the Online Catalog

To shelf browse, search for an item and click on the cover image. Then, scroll to the bottom of the screen that opens to find the Shelf Browse display. Click on the arrows to move along the shelf and see what other items are located nearby. 

To find books on a particular topic, search by Subject in the search bar. In the menu to the left of the search bar, select Subject. Book award winners, such as the Green Mountain Book Award, can also be found by using the Subject search.

To find a complete list of a particular type of items, such as DVDs, use the Advanced Search function. Click on Material Type and select the type of item that you are looking for and then click Search. This will produce a list of all of the items in this format.

Renewing an Item

  1. After logging in to the online catalog, click on Your Account in the top right corner.

  2. Click on the Items Out option in the menu that opens.

  3. Click on the Renew button next to the item that you'd like to renew. Or, click on Renew All to renew all of the items that you have checked out.

Check Out History and Reading Lists

After logging in to the online catalog, click on Your Account in the top right corner and then click on Checkout History. This will show you what items you have checked out previously. If you have not yet activated your checkout history, you can do that by clicking Activate History

You can also create a reading list. When you search for something in the catalog that you'd like to remember for later, click on Add to Your List. You can access your reading lists by clicking on Your Account in the top right corner and then clicking on Your List.

What if something doesn't work the way I expect?
