NONPROFIT CLERK

 

We are currently seeking a part-time clerk to provide assistance in financial work, supply purchasing, and general administrative and organizational support.  This position works 14 hours per week at the library and there is flexibility in how the schedule is arranged.  The ideal candidate has 4 years of college, plus experience with bookkeeping and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The starting pay is $20.94 per hour and is part of the library’s collective bargaining unit.

Periodically the Library hires Library Pages and Library Substitutes. 

  • Pages are high school students between the ages of 14 and 18.  They generally work 2 shifts per week of 2 hours each.  Their primary responsibility is shelving books. 

  • Substitutes work on the circulation desk, providing coverage on an as-needed basis when a regular staff member is unavailable. 

  • You may submit an application any time for these positions.  We keep completed applications for 6 months and fill positions as they come available.
