The Kellogg-Hubbard Library is honored to be one of nine hosting libraries for the First Wednesdays program in Vermont. This eclectic lecture series is offered in conjunction with the Vermont Humanities Council as well as annual sponsors. Join us on the first Wednesday of the month, October through May for a fun and thought-provoking program.

How to Love a Country

Richard Blanco reads from his recent poetry collection How to Love a Country, exploring immigration, gun violence, racism, LGBTQ issues, and more, unraveling the fabric of the American narrative in accessible and emotive verses.
Blanco will also lead a poetry workshop on Saturday, April 4 at 10:30 am at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
