Local Art Exhibits
The Kellogg-Hubbard Library is proud to support the work of local artists. Each month we host an exhibit from an adult artist in the Kitzmiller Room on the second floor of the Library and an exhibit from a youth artist or art class in the Children's Library. If you would like your art to be featured at the Library, please read the instructions below.

Wondrous World: Illuminating Sacred Spaces of Memory

Through a variety of media - hand-mixed natural earth paint powder oil and acrylic palette knife paintings; gouache, 3-dimensional hand-cut paper art and guest collaborators' book illustrations and poetry, "Wondrous World," shares the wisdom illuminations and experiences of actively and consciously "re-memorying" (re-awakening through the power of the evocative specialness of outer and inner spaces and landscapes) the reality that we are truly amazing beings, living in a world designed of magic, mystery and meaning that is alive and interconnected, and that what we do to/experience as one, we do to/experience as all.
This exhibit includes an artist talk and workshop for community members on Monday, December 11 from 6 - 7 pm in the Kitzmiller Fiction Room.
