Arthur Schaller

Selected Works

On display in the main staircase through May

The TW Wood Gallery is pleased to present Arthur Schaller Selected Works. This exhibition consists of a compilation of collages, paintings, and mixed media work. Born 1945 in East Chicago, Schaller grew up with the contrast of gritty steel mills and oil refineries and the natural beauty of the dune lands of Lake Michigan. After studying architecture and art and working for architectural firms, Schaller embarked on a fifty-year teaching career. Before moving to Vermont, he spent summers teaching at Yestermorrow Design/Build School in Warren. A bricoleur at heart, he has recently returned to painting and mixed media works. He lives in Northfield, Vermont.
